Web Applications Engineer

We are looking for enthusiastic engineers to join Greenbox Technology’s Engineering team in building world-class products for the home market. You will be responsible for designing, building, releasing, and supporting web applications as well as critical management systems for internal use. We are looking for well-rounded developers who have a proven track record of delivering scalable and robust consumer oriented applications using Web technologies. You must be capable of designing and developing significant new functionality as well as consistently producing on-going sustaining maintenance releases. An ability and interest in adopting advanced, new, and/or proprietary development technologies is required. The ideal candidate should possess a mix of technical strength and business acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, building, releasing, and supporting web applications as well as critical management systems for internal use.
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable and robust consumer oriented applications using Web technologies.
  • Experience designing and developing significant new functionality.
  • Consistently producing on-going sustaining maintenance releases.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of multithreaded server-side Web Application programming experience.
  • Strong foundation in client and server side scripting technologies such as Java, Python, Flash ActionScript Experience with Database/SQL.
  • Hands on experience with defining and implementing the release process.
  • Solid track record of delivering functional and maintenance releases.
  • Experience and ability to work side-by-side with web designers and graphic artists.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
